You may be carrying grief for what was left behind while feeling pressure to adapt, succeed, and remain resilient. Many immigrants experience loneliness, cultural dislocation, shifting family roles, and heightened vigilance related to public discourse, immigration policies, or anti-Asian sentiment.
This group offers space to explore the emotional and psychological layers of immigration, including loss, identity, intergenerational expectations, and trauma. Stress related to the current political climate, uncertainty around safety, belonging, and visibility are openly acknowledged and explored with care.
The focus is on emotional processing, nervous system regulation, and building internal steadiness in the face of external stress. This is not a space for debate or problem-solving, but for reflection, support, and shared understanding.
This is a peer-supported group facilitated by a clinician trained in attachment-based and trauma-informed care. The goal is connection, validation, and a deeper sense of belonging.

You are seeking this group as a replacement for individual trauma therapy. This is a peer-supported group designed to complement, not replace, individual care.
You are currently engaging in self-harming behaviors that require medical or intensive clinical support.
You are in acute crisis or need a higher level of care than a support group can provide.
If you are located in Massachusetts and feel that individual therapy may be a better fit at this time, you are welcome to reach out to us to explore available options.
