She/they
As a queer, second-generation Asian American clinical social worker with over a decade of experience supporting individuals and families, I aim to offer a warm, compassionate, and collaborative space to unload whatever is on your mind and heart. Together, we’ll work to connect the dots between past experiences and present struggles, gently unravel patterns that no longer serve you, and tend to parts of you that may have been overlooked or set aside. You are the expert of your own life, and my role is to walk alongside you as you develop a deeper understanding of yourself and what matters most to you.
I provide a trauma-informed, holistic approach to healing, drawing primarily from Internal Family Systems (IFS/Parts work), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Attachment-based Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Liberation Health and Decolonial perspectives. With this background I bring an understanding of how larger systemic forces and oppression can impact our mental health and wellbeing, as well as our families and communities around us. Therapy can offer an opportunity to explore the cultural messages we grew up with, change the stories we tell ourselves, gain insight and utilize tools to better cope.
Whether you are navigating challenges in your relationships, identity and belonging, burnout, or major life transitions, I would be honored to partner with you on your journey toward growth and becoming your full, authentic self.
