She
I believe that healing happens through genuine connection, feeling understood, and having a safe space where you can show up as your authentic self. As a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), I bring years of experience supporting children, adolescents, adults, and families in a variety of community-based mental health settings. I work with individuals navigating anxiety, depression, grief and loss, relationship challenges, life transitions, stress, self-esteem concerns, cultural identity, and the unique experiences of acculturation.
My approach to therapy is warm, collaborative, trauma-informed, and tailored to each person's unique story and strengths. I draw from evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Narrative Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, and Family Therapy to help clients build insight, develop practical coping skills, and create meaningful, lasting change.
Most recently, I received my Perinatal Mental Health Certification (PMH-C), which has deepened my passion for supporting individuals through pregnancy, postpartum, and the many transitions that come with parenthood. Whether you are adjusting to becoming a parent, rediscovering your identity, navigating the emotional challenges of raising children, or strengthening your relationship with your child, I strive to provide a compassionate space where you feel supported every step of the way.
As a 1.5-generation Korean American, I understand firsthand the complexities of growing up in an immigrant family and balancing multiple cultural identities. My lived experience allows me to approach therapy with cultural humility, curiosity, and deep respect for each person's values and experiences. I am passionate about providing culturally responsive care and creating a space where clients feel seen, heard, and empowered.
Seeking therapy can feel like a big step, and you don't have to navigate life's challenges alone. My hope is to partner with you in a way that feels genuine, supportive, and empowering as we work toward the life you want to build.
