She
Whether you are carrying emotional pain from a traumatic experience, navigating complicated relationships, or feeling the impact of early life experiences, therapy can be a place to slow down. You do not have to hold everything together here.
My work focuses on attachment and developmental trauma, particularly for individuals shaped by immigration and Asian cultural experiences. Many of my clients are working through the impact of growing up between cultures, managing family expectations, and understanding relational patterns rooted in early caregiving. This may show up as emotional neglect, internal pressure, or difficulty balancing autonomy and responsibility.
I also work closely with healthcare professionals, including doctors, nurses, medical students, and residents. Many are navigating demanding environments, high expectations, and the emotional impact of patient care. With clinical experience as a nurse and over five years in hospice care, I understand these pressures. I support clients in processing stress, improving communication, and building sustainable ways of working and living.
My approach is relational and integrative. I draw from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Attachment-based and Mentalization-based therapy, Existential Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Sandtray therapy, and Structural Family Therapy. Therapy is collaborative and tailored to you.
I have extensive experience working with domestic violence and sexual trauma. I began my career as a mobile crisis clinician with the Boston Emergency Services Team, where I worked alongside psychiatrists and medical teams to conduct psychiatric evaluations and provide crisis intervention. This shaped how I work with intensity, risk, and emotional overwhelm.
As an immigrant raised in a household influenced by both East and Southeast Asian cultures, I understand the complexity of living between worlds. I approach this work with cultural humility and curiosity.
I strive to create a steady and secure space where you can speak honestly and begin to relate to yourself with more clarity and compassion.
