I am a psychotherapist with master's degrees in community social psychology and social work. I have worked in the community health field for more than 10 years. Throughout my training and career, I have worked with a variety of populations with trauma, depression, and anxiety issues. I specialize in adult psychotherapy, particularly for elders. In my practice, I work with patients suffering from depression, anxiety, trauma-related issues, cultural issues, and other significant life stressors. I believe that the treatment of motivational interviewing and the strength-based approach are key to understanding the pain, struggle, adaptability, and brightness of my patients in a multi-faceted, multi-environment.
I am culturally sensitive and strive to provide a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space, help and guide my patients through their mental health struggles, alleviate the symptoms, and enrich their lives and relationships.
